Nicholas R. Jentzsch

Senior Project Systems Engineer

Nicholas Jentzsch

Mr. Jentzsch’s duties and responsibilities include design, fabrication, and testing of high pressure vessels and reactors, as well as hydrogen membrane transport testing. He previously worked at Eltron, and since returning, he has expanded the fabrication shop with welding capabilities and has worked on development of chemical sensors as well as hydrogen and oxygen separation technology.

He worked for BlueStar Sustainable Technologies Inc., building a Fischer-Tropsch Pilot Plant, from October 2000 to December 2002. Nicholas assembled and managed a highly functional Fabrication Shop. He also helped with design and construction of the Pilot Plant as well as build reactors for the Fuel Cell effort.

Nicholas was previously employed at Eltron from July 1998 to October 2000. His work was in electrochemistry, fluid dynamics, and fabrication for all other projects at Eltron.

He graduated in May 1998 with a Bachelor’s in Physics Engineering and Math minor from University Northern Colorado. His research thesis was on the construction of a Quadrupole Radio frequency Ion Trap. The Ion Trap is used on further research by the UNC Physics Department. He is an Eagle Scout that enjoys climbing and fishing in the Rocky Mountains.
