JESSE W. TAYLOR, Senior Chemist
Dr. Taylor’s responsibilities include the conduct of research in the area of heterogeneous catalysis. Dr. Taylor has lead or been integral in the research of catalytic materials for a number of different applications including catalysts for CINCH fuel and monopropellant decomposition, chemical warfare agent (CWA) destruction and adsorption, Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS), catalytic wet air oxidation (CWAO), and chemical looping for coal reforming. Involvement in these programs has ranged from directing the research effort to the synthesis, characterization, and evaluation of catalytic materials. He also has research interests in borane and metallaborane chemistry, alkali and alkaline earth metal chemistry and in production and performance of coatings and thin films.
