Our Company
Eltron Research and Development is a small business dedicated to providing creative, useful solutions to industry. Our main areas of expertise are materials, catalysis and catalytic systems, electrochemistry, membranes and sensors. Major industries we support are energy, petrochemicals, environmental monitoring and remediation, defense and aerospace.
The company has new owners and management (see the Letter From The President under the Home tab to the left) and a new corporate direction. In the past the company was much less focused on commercialization than now. Consequently, the company has a large portfolio of technologies to offer to industry in addition to being able to invent and develop new solutions to customers’ needs. Eltron, founded in 1982, is located in Boulder, Colorado and currently has about fifty employees. The research staff includes 18 Ph.D. scientists and engineers as well as 20+ with M.S. or B.S. degrees. To the left is a “Staff” tab for bios and contact information. They are listed by expertise (who can I talk to about electrochemical processes?) as well as by technology grouping (who can help me with hydrogen separation membranes?).
