Process Electrochemist

Career Level:   Experienced (Non-Manager)

Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in the team development and scale-up of Eltron’s hydrogen membrane technology.
  2. Assist in the design, construction, and operation of a scale-up electrodeposition process.
  3. Prepare internal and external reports.
  4. Participate in technology transfer from bench scale to pilot scale.
  5. Identify and document intellectual property.
  6. Participate in safety reviews of processes.

Education & Experience:

  1. B.S. degree or higher in chemistry or chemical engineering, preferably M.S. degree or higher.
  2. 3-5 years experience in scale-up of chemical processes, preferably scale-up of electrodeposition processes.
  3. Familiar with OSHA regulations.

  5. Self-directed.
  6. Experience scaling-up novel technologies from bench scale to pilot scale.
